The Best Car Rental Deals In Crete

There’s always a first time for everything, getting to find the best car to rent while in Crete is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What are the best Car Rental deals in Crete?”

Travelers in Crete often rent cars or hire a car rental service as they visit this wonderful island. Those who travel in Crete would include individuals, couples, friends, families and of course, businessmen. In fact, there are numerous car rental services that have had businessmen as some of their most loyal customers. It would be inconvenient and expensive to always take taxis, especially if these businessmen have a lot of clients to see or numerous places to go in order to seal deals. The 70s and 80s saw car renting gaining more popularity. Today, it is as popular as ever, contributing a large part to the rental market. Businessmen often rent cars as soon as they arrive in any of the three airports which would include: Nikos Kazantzakis at Heraklion, a public airport in Sitia; and the Daskalogiannis at Chania, which is a military airport.

Most large cities in other areas of the world have adequate transportation services in the form of buses and subways, however, in Crete, renting a car would allow for less stress and more enjoyment because you do not have to constantly pay for taxi fares or wait for scheduled bus trips. In addition, you can visit places that public transportation can’t reach, such as the outskirts of the island.

Many people believe that renting a car is costly and would have no space in their budget. However, car rentals are surprisingly affordable. A small car with a weekly rate is less costly than constantly taking public transportation or taxis. The cost can also be reduced if you split it with your other companions.

Additionally, if you are planning to go on a road trip in Crete, car renting is an excellent suggestion because the trip could take its toll on your car. Car rental companies offer unlimited miles and moderately used cars at an affordable price, thus you can enjoy your road trip without constantly worrying about your vehicle. These companies also offer different cars according to your needs: a convertible, a luxury car, or a sports car is available to you.

You can also rent cars whenever your car needs servicing in the shop. You can find car rental companies in convenient places, not just in airports or out-of-town agencies. Ask the company for their insurance policies. Often, your insurance already covers the cost of car rental if you have an accident.

The internet is a very good resource for finding the best car rental deals and rates as you plan to visit Crete. Travel sites such as Travelocity and Expedia have a search function that would allow you to locate the best car for your needs. You will be provided with a list of available car models and their rates, together with the rental agencies that can provide them during your time of need. It is also a good idea to log on to the individual sites of rental car companies because they can offer good deals to prospective customers who contact them directly.

There’s always a first time for everything, getting to find the best car to rent for your next vacation is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What do you need to know about car rental before your next vacation!”

On a recent trip to Indiana I needed to rent a car. Prior to my trip I looked online at various car rental companies. I compared prices for the sized vehicle I needed. Since it was only me and a friend I opted for a full sized car, which turned out to be an Impala.

When I returned the car the following day it came time to pay the bill. Much to my shock and amazement the car that I had rented for what I though would be "x" amount dollars turned out to be "x" amount dollars plus "x" amount of dollars more. In other words there were hidden fees.

This brings me to tip number one. Check all of the fine print when it comes to renting a vehicle. You would be surprised what they hide in there. Most of the time your larger companies such as Enterprise, Hertz and Avis put everything up front and only tack on additional fees for services that you request that will cost extra such as insurance.

That leads me into my second car rental tip. If you have your own car insurance check to see what kind of coverage it includes when you rent a car. Getting the car rental insurance is one of the biggest scams going. Ok well it is not really a scam, it is legit, they just inflate the price on you. If you have your own car insurance that covers the basics when you rent a car you do not need to get the car rental company's insurance. Save the extra $25 to $100 per day they will charge you.

My final tip I want to go over is checking the fuel tank on the vehicle that you rent. Make sure you know the fuel level on the rental car. Also make sure that you have the person from the car rental company write it down. Their policy might be for you to return the car with a full tank of gas but if they only give it to you with a quarter tank of gas, that isn't very fair is it? No of course not.

So make sure they know that if you get it with a quarter tank of gas they are getting it back with a quarter tank of gas. Chances are that will not happen especially if you rent from a reputable car rental company. If you try a fly by night place you take some major chances on a lot of services.

Before you return the car make sure the gas level is at where it was when you picked the car up. The car rental company adds on anywhere from $0.10 to $0.20 per gallon extra on top of the current days gas prices. Since gas is already at an all time high, I doubt you want to pay anymore than you have to. So put gas in it before you get back to the car rental agency.

Renting a car is not a big hassle and usually doesn't turn out to be one. However, if you get lazy on the simple things it can turn into a nightmare that could cost you a lot of money it should not have.

Cool Tips on How to Find the Best Car to Rent for the Occasion

What's the occasion?

A car rental company in St. Lucia reminds their clients about this fact all the time. Think about it. I know that everybody (automatically includes you)

There’s always a first time for everything, getting to find the best car to rent is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "How do you find the best car to rent?”

Who says that not owning a car is a sin? Nowadays it doesn’t matter if you don’t own one. Aside from the fact that there are many comfortable public utility vehicles readily available for your usage, there are also many reputable auto rental businesses, which can provide you the car that you have always dreamed to drive.

While these companies can readily provide you your car choice (given that you pay the right amount charged to you); you have to remember that your choice matters a lot. I’m not saying that you have to be careful since these companies only offer Type-B cars.

What I mean is that as a consumer, you have to know what services to avail or what to purchase, given a specific occasion and/or time. A car rental company in St. Lucia reminds their clients about this fact all the time. Think about it. I know that everybody (automatically includes you) wants to ride a limousine. But, will you drive a limousine if you want to journey Highway 67 for your trip to the Grand Canyon? Well that’s very odd.

It’s a good thing that in St Lucia, car rental companies always reminds and helps their clients choose the best car that will suit best their destinations. What if you live in some other place? And you cannot avail the services of car rentals in St. Lucia? That’s not a problem. As a representative of a St. Lucia Auto rental business that provides top-class auto car rental in Saint Lucia, I’m here to help you. This easy-read article is the form of my help to you

The cars and their SPECIFICITIES

Every car invented and developed serves a SPECIFIC purpose. And their most important purpose is the TIME when and the PLACE where you will use them. Here is a short list of different car types and some concise explanation about when and where they perfectly FIT.

1) 4-Door Sedans – Sedans are always the best choice next to limousines if you want to go to some formal party, formal meeting, prom, and/or use it for your own wedding. Remember that cars like this are mostly applicable only if you want your car to match your “elegant” and “formal” look.

2) 2-Door Coupes – 2-Door Coupes are smaller versions of the Sedan. Choose this if you are to go to a party/meeting/prom alone. Single adults or childless couples mostly drive this car.

3) Station Wagons/ Mini vans – This car is the best choice for active families who loves to travel a lot and explore. Station Wagons are the perfect choice if you want to go to a family outing or even as simple as a picnic.

4) Sports Cars/ convertibles – We all know this. Sports Cars are for some CLUB and party hopping activities only. Sports cars serve as a main source of pride for those who want to rent them.

5) Limousines – Usually limousines are used only for very special occasions. If you want to make your wedding as elegant and classy at possible, you have to rent a limousine.

If you want to suggest something and ask questions, feel free to do so.

Car Hire: What Is The Best Choice For Wedding?

There’s always a first time for everything, Choosing the Right Car Hire Company is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "Why use a car hire?"

An essential past of any wedding is to get the right car for arriving at and departing from the church, as well as the trip to the airport for the honeymoon. Combining elegance and style is the primary concern for any wedding planner, however in recent years increasing numbers of couples have opted for more original forms of transport on their special day.

In London the choices available for those wishing to hire a wedding car are almost limitless. Of course there are the usual suspects like Rolls Royce, Bentley and Jaguar that make up the majority of the wedding car market. These cars can be seen as the classic choice of wedding car for their large size and style, however with more weddings today abandoning tradition a large number of car rental companies have started hiring more unique choices of wedding car.

A great choice for a wedding car is a Morris Minor or VW Beetle; although planners may be put off by the size of the cars, their appeal and character is hard to dispute. The 'Herbie' like beetle is a must for a VW nut although getting in and out in a flowing wedding dress may not be the easiest of tasks. The Morris Minors on the other hand come in a variety of models and the convertible is ideal; offering style without being brash this choice of wedding car will surely suit those planning an original wedding.

An increasing number of couples have hired an American classic for their wedding day; this is a great alternative to the usual luxury cars available for hire while not compromising on size. A pink Cadillac is the perfect choice; complete with fins it brings a slice of 1950s America to your wedding. If pink is a little loud for a wedding car a 1959 Cadillac in white is an awesome choice for a wedding car.

The use of Hummer four by four's have increasingly been used by wedding car companies due to their comfort and large size; adorned in ribbons they can even look quite festive. An added bonus of using a Hummer is that the bride can step down from the car, making the transition from vehicle to church easier.

With such a huge worldwide following there is little wonder VW Camper Vans have become increasingly popular as wedding cars. This cult classic is held in high regard amongst its followers and for Camper Van fanatics there is no other choice for a wedding car. Once again using a VW Camper Van does not compromise on size, although speed is certainly reduced.

The wedding car market is becoming evermore flooded with vehicles from pop culture; a great example of this is the K.I.T.T. car from the eighties TV show 'Knight Rider.' Complete with flashing lights at the front this black Pontiac Trans Am will surely be hit for the groom, if not the bride.

Another popular car from culture that is available for hire as a wedding car is the Delorean from 'Back to the Future.' Although time travel is out of the question the 'gull wing' doors will ensure the groom fulfils a boyhood dream on his wedding day; after all it is not just about the bride.

Of course many will still go with the a more uniform wedding car for their special day, the elegance of a classic Rolls Royce or a 1930s black cab is something that cannot be doubted. As more couples abandon convention however the tradition of having a classic saloon for your wedding car will diminish. In the modern world the creative edge is always sought, the wide choice of wedding cars available for hire stands testament to this.

Whether it is the cute VW Beetle or the sporty Trans Am from a cult classic TV show there is now a host of cars that will surely fulfil any couple's transport requirements on their wedding day. Whether the groom will want to be seen leaving the church in a pink Cadillac however remains to be seen.

How to Choose the Right Car Hire Company

There’s always a first time for everything, Choosing the Right Car Hire Company is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What are exactly the advantages of each one?"

At many popular car hire destinations in Spain like Alicante airport, Malaga or Mallorca you can book your rental car with both global and local car hire companies, but what are exactly the advantages of each one?

Many travellers prefer the peace of mind of booking with a reputable multinational like Avis, Hertz, Europcar or National in order to avoid unpleasant surprises when collecting the rental car. Funny enough most complaints we handle are usually related with cars rented from multinational companies and the most common issues received by our customer services department are questions about the insurance.

Normally rates for Spain from multinational companies include basic collision damage waiver and theft protection with an insurance excess, sometimes up to 1.500 euros, depending on the company. However, if you go through the booking process on the website of a multinational car hire company on many occasions you will find an optional and additional item called Super CDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) which normally can be included by checking a box. With this optional item you can reduce or eliminate the insurance excess and your financial liability in case of an accident.

From our experience the rates from local car hire companies in Spain, many of them with a fleet of rental vehicles exceeding 15.000 cars do already include the Super Collision Damages Waiver, there is no insurance excess on the car hire.

If you book car hire in Malaga, Alicante or Mallorca with a multinational car rental agencies or any online car rental broker offering their services in Spain we strongly advise to check the insurance conditions, as the daily charge to cover the excess can be as much as 15,00 euros per day at the counter of multinational companies at Malaga airport, Palma de Mallorca or Alicante.

Other advantages of local car hire companies in Malaga and other popular tourist destinations in Spain are the much lower additional charges which apply for services like extra drivers, baby seats, airport deliveries or after hour car deliveries. Many of these additional services are free of charge or against a very low flat rate and you will end up paying a lot less.

Obviously there are also disadvantages. Due to their low-cost philosophy these companies need to optimize their fleet which requires a larger number or rentals and the chances are that you have to wait a bit longer to collect your rental car when you arrive at Malaga airport, especially on peak days, during the weekends or the holiday periods.

The petrol policy from local car hire companies occasionally differs from the one applied by multinationals. Based on the statistics of the mileage per rental agreement many local car hire suppliers consider that an average customer will spend at least one full tank of petrol during the rental period of the vehicle and customers are requested to pay for a full tank of petrol and return the car as empty as possible. Especially at popular car hire destinations like Malaga, Alicante, Granada, Madrid, Mallorca, Almeria, Murcia, Valencia, Barcelona and Gerona this may be the case. We recommend our customers to estimate their mileage and compare which option is the most economical one.

Your Comprehensive Cheap Rental Cars Resource !

There’s always a first time for everything, Getting Cheap Rental Cars is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What is a guide to car hire in the UK?"

Car hire is the term that is used to describe the renting of a vehicle from a company. It usually takes place over short periods of time from a couple hours to a few weeks.

Most car rental companies have comprehensive websites that allow the potential clients to view, reserve and pay for their vehicle hire online

Typically car hire UK companies are based in airports or busy city areas and they often deal largely with the tourist or business markets. There is also a big market in vehicles that would ordinarily be out of the purchase price range of the hirer.

A large proportion of the British car hire market is made up of vehicles that are hired whilst the hirer's car is being repaired. There are also a vast number trucks and vans rented out to people that want to move house.

Each company that offers car hire in the UK provide the service with different conditions. Some companies allow the hirer to pick up and drop off the vehicle they hire at different places in the UK. This makes it possible to take a vehicle on a one-way journey and return it near to your destination. Many companies include insurance and roadside assistance as part of the price they quote which makes it easy to manage your budget. Some deals cost more depending on the number of miles the vehicle is driven but an increasing number of companies offer agreements with unlimited mileage.

The history of car hire is said to trace back to the introduction of the first economical version of Ford's Model T. A Nebraskan man named Joe Saunders is said to have been the first to hire out a vehicle when he lent out his Model T to a travelling salesman that wanted to take a girl out on a date.

Walter L Jacobs opened a car rental business in Chicago in 1918. By 1923 the business was generating $1 million a year and was ultimately bought by John Hertz. Prohibition facilitated a growth in the industry. This was positive for the profitability of the industry however hire vehicles became associated with bootleggers, prostitutes and bank robbers. The reputation has improved greatly since then.

There are two types of car hire company.

Companies such as Alamo and Europcar own the vehicles in their fleet. The other type of company operates like a broker and has access to other companies' fleets of vehicle. Many car rental companies impose a strict minimum age bracket on their vehicles. Often this means drivers have to be over 25 to rent a hire car.

Many companies also require payment via a credit card. This makes it easier for them to trace the person in event of theft or if the hire company finds faults with the vehicle after the hirer has returned it.
